Mortgage rates rising

Mortgage rates are mixed as we move into May. The rate for a 30-year fixed-rate mortgage now average 6.05%, with 0.3 point (fees), according to Freddie Mac, a major government sponsored buyer of existing mortgages. The average rate for a 15year fixed mortgage is 5.60% with 0.3point(fees).
